Blue Tongue has a wide range of clients including: Sydney Water, various Councils throughout Sydney, developers, NGOs and private land holders. Some of our recent projects include:

Toongabbie Creek: We conduct bush regeneration, revegetation, and soil conservation work across 19 reserves along Toongabbie Creek for the City of Parramatta Council.

Prospect Reservoir: We are implementing a program to remove a 30 hectare infestation of African Olive that has been present for over 100 years, this is for Sydney Water.

Wallaroo: We are working with a not for profit organisation, the Cumberland Land Conservancy to restore a retired farm at Mulgoa to healthy bushland. 

Windsor to Weir: We are being subcontracted by Greening Australia to implement bush regeneration, planting installations and educational seminars at 7 different sites along the Hawkesbury Nepean.

Fred Caterson Reserve: Bush Regeneration and planting installations at Fred Caterson Reserve for the Hills Shire Council. This job involved identification and protection measures for two threatened species, Persoonia hirsuta and Epacris purpurascens var. purpurascens.

Vineyard Creek: This is a chain of reserves managed by the City of Parramatta Council where we have been implementing a long term bush regeneration program with frequent planting installations.

Woods Reserve: We have been working on the Grose River to eradicate Lantana and woody weeds form a section of healthy remnant in the Wollemi National Park.

Yarramundi Reserve: We have installed many plantings and conducted bush regeneration works at this former sand mine, which is now one of the most popular recreation spots on the Hawkesbury River.

Malabar Wastewater Treatment Plant: We have a long term program to control Bitou Bush and Lantana at this facility. 

Lake Parramatta Dam Wall & Loyalty Road Dam: We are contracted by Parramatta City Council to remove vegetation from dam walls as these structures are damaged by roots.

The Colo Gorge: This is remote work targeting Lantana and other woody weeds in the upper reaches of the Colo River. We access by pack raft and even helicopter!
