Bush Regeneration

At Blue Tongue we provide a full suite of bush regeneration services. These include:

Weed removal - We conduct selective removal of weeds as per the needs of the client. This may involve manual treatment of weeds, mechanical clearing of weeds, and also the use of herbicides.
Seed collection - Seeds may be collected on site to provide local provenance for planting projects, as well as spot casting of native seeds in disturbed areas.
Brush matting - We conduct brush mating to close tracks, protect soil and provide native seed. 
Fire trigger regeneration - We conduct pile burns and environmental burns to trigger regeneration of native seeds and improve bush regeneration outcomes. This involves working with the client to seek the appropriate approvals from Council and the Rural Fire Service.
Wetland regeneration including - We use equipment including kayaks and waders, to work in wetlands and conduct work including the treatment of willows and other aquatic weeds, as well as long stem plantings.
