About Blue Tongue

Since the company’s launch in 2006 Blue Tongue has expanded rapidly to become a major player in conservation and land management and bush regeneration in Sydney employing over 30 staff.  We have contracts with 7 councils as well as the Local Land Services, National Parks, and Sydney Water.

Criteria for trained bush regenerators:

• Minimum 4 days per week

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the bush regeneration industry

• Experience in a wide variety of modern bush regeneration and revegetation techniques including herbicide spraying.

• Chemcert Certificate 3 or equivalent.

• Must have own transport

• Must be physically fit

Criteria for trainees:

• Preference given to applicants with on-ground experience or work with Green Army.
